Charging:
This worklight is portable and rechargeable allowing you to carry and place it
where you need without the hassle of running wires. Directly plug in the mains or
vehicle adaptor into the back socket to charge. Replace the rubber seal plug to
protect socket once charging is complete.
Only recharge using supplied adaptors with output of 16.8V
On Mains Adaptor: red LED indicates charging, green LED indicates fully
charged.
On Vehicle Adaptor: red LED indicates charging which will not change to
green once fully even though charging stops after a maximum of 8 hours.
The Zartek ZA-445 worklight has a built-in Li-ion battery pack. Although the unit
arrives partially charged from the factory, it must be fully charged for 8 hours
before first use. This initial charge pre-conditions the battery for full capacity.
Failure to charge may shorten the life span of the battery. Once the light gets dim
or starts to flicker recharge the battery immediately as it could get damaged if left
very flat.
