Check the instructions of the anchorage too as
some types of EN 795 anchorages could lead
to additional absorption distance, it is
necessary to include this in the calculation of
minimum clearance for a safe fall. Ensure the
potential fall path is clear of obstructions.
Attachment points according to EN 361:2002
This harness has two attachment points
according to EN 361:2002: a sternal
attachment point, made of two blue polyester
loops (F in this instruction manual and marked
with A/2 in the product, see Fig. 3), and a
dorsal attachment point, made of one black
aluminum ring (A in this instructions and
marked with A in the product). Both
attachment points can be used for a rescue or
fall arrest system, connected with connectors
according to EN 362, and with or without
energy absorbers depending on the system
according to EN 362.
EN 358:2018
Positioning system connectors must be
securely attached to the waist attachment
point. These connectors should exclusively be
employed for positioning purposes. It is
imperative to maintain proper tension in the
positioning system. The attachment point
should be positioned above the individual's hip.
Harnesses compliant with EN 358 are certified
for users with a total weight of up to 150 kg,
including any tools or equipment being
carried. The necessity for a fall arrest system
should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
EN 361 + EN 353
The harness is firmly attached to the guided-
type fall arrester with a stationary guide (EN
353-1) using the sliding catch eye. Connect the
harness to a guided-type fall arrester with a
movable guide in accordance with the fall
arrest system manufacturer's instructions.
Prior to utilizing a fall arrest system, verify
that there is adequate free space beneath the
user's work position in the event of a fall.
EN 813
The product complies with the requirements of
EN 813. Connection to the sit harness is made
through the ventral attachment point.
Rescue plan instructions and suspension
trauma
Users must have a rescue plan and all the
necessary components to implement it. Prior
any use, a rescue plan must be laid out.
To improve comfort and safety after a fall, this
harness includes our technology "Chair in the
Air", in the event of a fall, simply pull the
deployment cord to activate the system and
achieve a comfortable seated position with
freedom of movement for improved rescue
operations while reducing the potential
hazards of suspension trauma (Fig. 4).
