What to do if...

Caution

!

         Before troubleshooting ,disconnect 

the power supply.

Only a qualified electrician of competent 

person must 

carry out

 the troubleshooting 

that is not in this manual.

           There are some sounds during normal 

use (compressor ,refrigerant circulation).

Appliance dose not 

work

Mains plug is not plugged in 

or is loose

Check fuse ,replace if necessary.

Socket is defective.

Mains malfunctions are to be 

corrected by an electrician.

Problem

Appliance is not switch on

Fuse has blown or is defective.

Switch on the appliance

Insert mains plug.

Appliance cools too 

much

Temperature is set too cold.

Turn the temperature regulator to a 

warmer setting temporarily.

After cleaning wi pe with fresh water and 

rub dry.

Ÿ

Accumulation of dust at the condenser in-

creases energy consumption. For this reas-

on carefully clean the condenser at the back 

of the appliance once a year with a soft br-

ush or a vacuum cleaner.

Ÿ

Check the water drain hole on the rear wall 

of the fridge compartment. Clear a blocked 

drain hole with the aid if something like 

soft green peg ,be careful not to make any 

damage to the cabinet by sharp things.

Ÿ

After everything is dry place appliance back 

into service.

Defrosting of the freezer

The freezer compartment ,however ,will become 

progressively covered with frost. This should 

be removed.

Never use sharp metal tools to scrape off frost 

from the evaporator as you could damage it.

However ,when the ice becomes very thick on 

the inner liner ,complete defrosting should be 

carried out as fellows:

Ÿ

pull out the mains plug from the socket;

Ÿ

 remove all stored food ,wrap it in several 

layers of newspaper and put it in a cool 

place;

Ÿ

 keep the door open ,and placing a basin 

underneath of the appliance to collect the 

defrost water;

Ÿ

 when defrosting is completed ,dry the 

interior thoroughly

Ÿ

 replace the plug in the power socket to run 

the appliance again.

The rear wall of the fridge compartment covers 

with frost when the compressor is running ,and 

defrost

s

 when the compressor if off. The water 

from the thawing frost evaporates by itself.

Temperature is not properly 

adjusted.

Door was open for an extended 

period.

Open the door only as long as 

necessary.

A large quantity of warm food 

was placed in the appliance 

within the last 24  hours.

Turn the temperature regulator to 

a colder setting temporarily.

The food is too warm.

The appliance is near a heat 

source. 

Interior light does 

not work

Light bulb is defective.
