Switch on the appliance. 

When the child safety device has been activated,

 will be displayed.

Touch any two heat setting sensor fields   and   simultaneously. 

An acoustic signal will sound as confirmation. The child safety device has 
been overridden until the appliance is switched off, and the cooking surface 
can be used as normal.
