Mounting the Camera
The Z3Cam-LX
easily mounts to tripods or top and bottom mounting brackets using a 1/4 20 UNC screw
hole on the bottom of the unit.

Using WiFi
The supported USB WiFi card at the time this document was written is the TL-WN722N v2. If you find that
your card is not working as described in the document ssh in to the board (ssh
) and run
lsusb at the prompt. You should see this entry:
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 2357:010c
If you you don’t see this entry the device you are using is not currently supported. Contact Z3 Technology
for support options.
8.8.1
Initial WiFI Setup
1.
Power down the encoder and plug the wifi adapter into the USB slot on the camera. Then power on
the encoder. The device will boot up and you will see the green indicator LED on the WiFi stick
flashing.
2.
If there are no saved networks or none of the saved networks are currently available the device will
enter Access Point (AP) mode. In this mode it will create a wireless network from the product name
