STREAMING RTMP IN THREE DIFFERENT RESOLUTIONS
This section shows how to use the Z3-SBE264-10 to take one video input and stream it over RTMP into three
different resolutions (720p, D1, and CIF). Z3 Technology is a member of the Wowza Media Systems™
Technology Alliance partner program, and the Wowza Streaming Engine™ is used here as an example.
These instructions can also be used as an example of how to stream the same input into multiple
configurations. Simply specify “RTP”, “UDP”, or “TSFILE” instead of “RTMP”, and ignore the sections
referring to Wowza in this section. Note that, if multiple channels off the same input is done, the total
performance cannot exceed the capability of the Z3-SBE264-10 (for example, three 1080p30 encodes at
30fps would not be allowed. For multiple encodes the Z3-SBE264-10 can support the equivalent of 1x 1080i
1x 720p encode).
