  RUNNING THE ENCODER 

 

This section gives step-by-step instructions on taking the Z3-DM368-VI-RPS and using it to stream 1080p or 
1080i video to VLC running on your PC. 
 

7.1

 

Set up the HD Source

Select an HD source with HDMI output and set it to output either 1080i or 1080p30.

Connect the supplied DB9 serial cable to a PC and to the serial port of the Z3-DM368-VI-RPS.

Connect the Ethernet of the board to either a PC or a hub the PC is connected to.
