Encoding KLV Stream
The FVXK-13A-RPS can place KLV data from a UART in a UDP stream.
(1)
Return to the user interface.
(2)
Select “UDP” from the Output Format drop down.
(3)
Select “TRUE” from the KLV Enable drop down. This will reveal the KLV Pid, KLV Bitrate, KLV Mode,
and KLV source settings.
(4)
Set the desired PID value (Most applications will dynamically find any PID with KLV). The default KLV
bitrate of 1000 bps is usually sufficient. If a higher data rate is expected set the bitrate higher.
(5)
Set the KLV Mode to “
SERIAL
”. The other option is “FILE” which will take a binary file of captured
KLV data as its source.
(6)
Click the “Start” button and video will be streamed with KLV data.
