Opening and Folding 

Opening 

1. 

Rest both hands on each of the seat upholstery support rails and 
press down until the seat and back upholsteries become tight. (see 
photo 1) 

2. 

Make sure that the seat support rails are safely located in the sup-
port cups. 

Warning! 

Do not place your fingers between the seat  
upholstery and the seat tubes when opening or folding the frame. 

Folding 
1. 

Lift up the footplates 

2. 

Grasp the centre of the seat upholstery from the back and front and 
lift the seat upwards. This will cause the chair to fold up by its own 
weight.

Press the release lever on 
each side of the wheelchair 
back. 

2. 

When released fold down 
for easier storage, 

3. 

Make sure the locking 
mechanism is fully engaged 
before sitting in wheelchair.
