KEY LOCK MOD. FOR MVT7100 TO OPERATE LAMP SWITCH

 

 
Usual disclaimer, if you cock it up don't blame me. 
Please read all this document before you start 
Warning, removing the cover will erase all channels from memory. 
 
Remove the batteries and the eight small screws holding the case together. With the 
keypad facing down remove the back cover, this may need a little encouragement at 
the battery compartment end. 
 
The upright pcb with the switches on should now be in view. 
 

 

Ther are more tracks on the pcb than the ones shown, i have only shown the 
important ones. 
 
Break tracks at points A and B 
 
Solder a wire from 1 to 2 
Solder a wire from 3 to 4 
 
The track you break at point A is connected to point 2, check this with a continuity 
meter before breaking the track to check you are on the right track! 
 
The original lamp switch will still work but if want to leave the lamp on continuously 
then switch the key lock switch on.
