Print (Ctrl+P)
Prints the
Contour
and
Profile
graphs of the currently selected
.adp
file to the selected printer.
Print Preview
Lets you view the graphic display as it will look when printed.
Print Setup
Lets you modify the printer selection and its parameters before printing.
Discharge Summary (Ctrl+Y)
Presents in tabular format a summary of all the ADP files for which you have chosen to perform
a discharge calculation (via
Processing| Discharge Computation
; §
7.3.5
). This is normally used to
quickly compare repeated measurements. The
Discharge Summary
dialog box (
Figure 7-17
) pre-
sents the information and controls described below at any time during data collection or post-
processing. For information about discharge computations, see §
5.1
–
Discharge Calculations
.
To compute this summary data for more than one data file, open each data file individually
within the same session, and use the
Processing|Discharge Computation
option to compute the
discharge data for each file. The
Discharge Summary
dialog box can then be used to display a
summary of discharge data for the listed files.

Standard Dev
– Displays the discharge standard deviation for all listed data files.
•
Abs. Mean
– Displays the absolute mean for all listed data files.
•
Coeff of Variation
– Displays the coefficient of variation for all listed data files. In steady
flow conditions, ideally this value should be less than 5%, assuming that nearly identical
and reciprocal transect runs were made. Readings of 1-3% are common given proper meas-
urement conditions and techniques.

Delete Record
– Lets you remove a data file from the summary calculations. Note: To add a
file, you will have to open the file (
File|Open
) and process the discharge data for that file

).

– Removes all data files from the summary calculations. Note: To add a
