• Caution: Always ensure the device is unplugged from the main power supply and has
thoroughly cooled down before cleaning or storing.
• Wash the warming trays, the clear lids and frame in warm, soapy water. Rinse well
and dry thoroughly.
• Clean the hot plate with a mild detergent and a soft moist cloth, do not use any
abrasive cleaning agents. Do not submerge the hot plate cord or plug in water or
any other liquid or let the heat control come in contact with water.
• Do not allow water to spill or seep into frame.
• Any food residue remaining on the hot plate can be whisked away with a gentle
stroke of a nylon mash pad. Rinse and wipe dry.

Electric and electronic end-of-life devices often still contain valuable materials. However,
they also contain hazardous substances which were required for their proper function
and safety.
If disposed of with regular household waste or treated incorrectly they can pose a risk to
human health and the environment.

Use the collecting station in your municipality to return electrical and electronic end-
of-life devices for recycling. Obtain the information required, if necessary, from your city
hall, your waste disposal company or your dealer.
Render the device unusable before disposal. Make sure your end-of-life device is stored
safely away from children until hauled away.

8. After use, unplug the device from the main power supply and allow to cool down
thoroughly before cleaning or storing.
9. You may use the hot plate without the warming trays and frame. Pre-heat the hot
plate for approximately 10 minutes before use. (fig. 2)
