This chapter describes the settings to be programmed by the installer.
Number Plan
Number Plan includes:

It is recommended that all of the first digits of the planned numbers be different.

Operating Ways and Feature Codes
Inward Transfers
To transfer a call to an internal phone, EVM will take the following actions:
1.
Sends out a hook-flash if
_[xx0x] or [xx2x] is specified. If not, starts Step 3.
2.
_[2] is specified, waits one second and then starts Step 3. If not, starts the dial tone
detection:

When the dial tone is detected, start Step 3.

When four-second silence is detected, restarts Step 1, but hangs up after the third time.

Dials the feature code specified in

Dials the phone number.
5.
Waits for the Tone Detection delay, the length of which is specified in

Handles the call, according to the result of the tone detection. The transfer mode is determined
by the Ring Duration option.

Blind Transfer (Option 01)

If 5-second silence or any tone other than the Error tone is detected, releases the call.

If the Error tone is detected, retrieves the call.

Unsupervised Transfer (Option 00)

If any tone other than the Busy tone or Error tone is detected, releases the call.
