The units are designed to operate for long periods of time with a minimum of maintenance. However, the following operations must be
performed regularly.

ROBLEM

ROBABLE CAUSE AND REMEDY
1. Check that the unit is plugged in and that the circuit is not overloaded by
other electrical appliances.
2. Check fuses and /or circuit breaker and make sure that power is getting to
the unit.
3. If the fuse has been changed and it blows when the unit is restarted, or if the
circuit breaker cuts out immediately after it has been reset, do not hesitate
to contact your approved service centre.
1. Make sure that the thermostat is set to the right position for cooling.
2. Make sure that there are no obstacles in front of the unit that might impede
proper air circulation.
3. Make sure that the horizontal dampers open correctly.
4. Remove the decorative front panel and check that the thermostat bulb does
not touch the coil fins since this can cause compressor short-cycling.

6. Check that the evaporator coil is not frosted up
