OPERATION
DISPLAYING SYSTEM PARAMETERS
The Display keys are used to display selected moni-
tored parameters as follows (refer to Fig. 1):
• Press and release the appropriate Display key – the
message will be displayed for 2 seconds.
– or –
• Press and hold the appropriate Display key – the
message will be displayed and updated every 0.5
seconds until the Display key is released.
– or –
• Press and release appropriate Display key, then press
and release the DISPLAY HOLD key – the message
will be displayed and updated every 2 seconds until
the DISPLAY HOLD key is again pressed and re-
leased, or 10 minutes have elapsed, whichever oc-
curs first.
– or –
• For those Display keys that display more than one
message, press and hold the DISPLAY key. Each
message will be displayed for 2 seconds and auto-
matically scroll to the message as long as the key is
pressed. To hold a specific message, press and re-
lease the DISPLAY HOLD key, then immediately
press and release the desired Display key. The first
message will be displayed and updated every 2 sec-
onds until the DISPLAY key is again pressed and re-
leased. Then the second message is displayed. Each
time the DISPLAY key is pressed and released, the
next message is displayed. This can be continued until
the DISPLAY HOLD key is pressed and released or
10 minutes have elapsed, whichever occurs first.
(When pressing the PUMP STATUS key in SERVICE
mode, the “Display Hold” feature is automatically en-
gaged. This facilitates manual pump and manual dilu-
tion cycle operation.)
NOTE: X’s will not be displayed for parameter values.
They are shown below to depict number fields
only. If a parameter is out of range, the highest
or lowest allowable number is displayed, but the
“=” sign is replaced by a greater than (“ > ”) or
less than (“ > ”) sign, whichever is appropriate.
Refer to Fig. 2 for the range of each parameter.
If the Micro Board program jumper J52 (English/
Metric) is installed, all temperatures are dis-
played in °F and all pressures are displayed in
PSIA. If the jumper is removed, all temperatures
are displayed in °C and all pressures are dis-
played in kPa. If the I/O Expansion Board pro-
gram jumper J12 is installed, all messages dis-
played in English language. If removed, all mes-
sages displayed in German language.

PERATURE: (Steam units only).
Use the SUPPLY STEAM PRESS/TEMP key as de-
scribed above to produce the following message:
STEAM TEMP = XXX.X°F, PRESS = XX.XX PSIA
To display REFRIGERANT AND STRONG SOLUTION
TEMPERATURES and REFRIGERANT TEMPERA-
TURES LEAVING THE CONDENSER, use the REFRIG-
ERANT/SOL’N TEMPS key as follows:
Use the REFRIGERANT/SOL’N TEMPS key as de-
scribed above to produce the following messages:
REFRIG = XXX.X°F; STRONG SOLN = XXX.X°F
