VIII. Possible problems during use and solutions 

 
1.  Please  note  when  using  the  flash  outdoors:  When  outdoors,  please  avoid  direct 
sunlight  on  to  the  wireless  triggering  sensor  to  ensure  normal  function  of  the  S1/S2 
modes of the flash light. 
2.  Precaution  for  outdoor  use  with  lighting  umbrellas/modifiers:  Lighting  umbrellas/
modifiers  are  easily  blown  over  and  if  mounted  with  the  flash  light  it  is  possible  to 
break  the  hot  shoe  foot. Take  good  precautions  to  avoid being  blown  over  or  knocked 
over. Please fix to a suitably secure mounting system or avoid outdoor use. 
3. Photos are under exposed or over exposed? Check you have not set the shutter speed, 
aperture  and  ISO  too  near  the  flash  limits  of  the  camera,  or,  if  you  have  used  other 
settings including exposure compensation in relation to flash photography, that they are 
properly set. 
4. Vignetting appears in photos or only part of the subject is illuminated? Please check 
the  current  light  coverage  of  the  set  zoom  focal  length  and  make  sure  that  the  camera 
lens focal length exceeds the coverage range of the flash. The product’s zooming range 
is  24~105mm  in  the  medium  format  system.  You  can  try  to  pull  out  the  wide-angle 
diffuser to expand the flash range.
