Sequence Trigger (Option)
Trigger data included in the waveform data that is output from each output terminal set
(OUT). The data is used to set sequence triggers that change the waveform element.
You set trigger wait on each element and perform linked sequence operation (operation
of sequentially outputting waveform data signal registered to the element) across output
terminal sets (OUT).
Sequence Trigger Operation
For each element in a sequence list, you can set trigger waits (WaitTrig) used to switch
the elements. The switching of elements that are set to trigger wait varies depending on
the repeat count setting as follows:
• When the Repeat Count Is Infinite
When a sequence trigger is activated while outputting the element waveform, a switch
is made to the next element.
• When the Repeat Count Is Finite
When a sequence trigger is activated while outputting the element waveform, the
waveform of the element is output the specified number of times and then a switch is
made to the next element.
If a trigger is not activated while outputting the waveform, the VB8300 waits for a trigger
in a no signal condition. The sequence operation is independent for each output terminal
set (OUT). If a trigger is activated while a waveform of an element that is not set to
trigger wait is being output, the trigger is invalid.
