Installation Conditions

Install the instrument in a place that meets the following conditions.

Ambient Temperature and Humidity

Use the instrument in the following environment.

• Ambient temperature: 5 to 40°C

However, in order to obtain highly accurate measurements, operate the instrument in

the 23 ±5°C temperature range.

• Ambient humidity: 20 to 80% RH
No condensation should be present. In order to obtain highly accurate measurements,

operate the instrument in the 50 ±10% RH range.

Note

Condensation may occur if the instrument is moved to another place where the ambient

temperature is higher, or if the temperature changes rapidly. If condensation occurs, allow the

instrument adjust to the environment for at least an hour before using the instrument. If you
transport the instrument in its packing box, to prevent condensation, allow it to adjust to the

new ambient temperature for at least an hour before taking it out of the box.

Flat and Even Location

Place the instrument on a flat, even surface. Do not place the instrument on an unstable

or sloped surface.
