7.2 Replacing the Fuses
During current range measurement, the fuses may melt (blow out) because of excessive current.
If this happens, replace the fuses.
WARNING
• To avoid electrical shock, be sure to disconnect the CA0 from the circuit under
measurement.
(Remove the test leads and lead cables as well.)
• Turn the CA0 off.
• Do not measure while the case is open. Doing so may lead to electric shock.
• To avoid damaging the CA450, be sure to use the specified fuses.

F and F2
(0 mA/000 V, Littlefuse, FLU .0)

Replacement Procedure
) Remove the fastening screw on the back of the CA0’s case.
2) Open the case.
) Remove the fuses from their holders.
) Insert the new fuses into the holders. (Check the ratings of the fuses.)
) Return the case to its original position, and tighten the fastening screw.
