FIRST USE
1. Take the unit out of its packaging and remove all protective bags.
2. Open the drip segment lid and remove the reusable filter and filter mount. Wash them with warm
water and dish soap, rinse them off carefully and dry them off. Place the filter mount and filter
back in the coffee machine. Make sure the inset on the filter mount is slid into the groove
in the casing.
3. Remove the jug and wash it with warm water and dish soap, carefully rinse and dry it off. Place
the jug back in the coffee machine.
4. Lift up the drip segment lid by tilting it towards the back of the unit. Fill the drip segment water
reservoir with clean water by pouring it through openings located around the filter mount, until
“MAX” level marked in the reservoir is reached. Do not pour water into the filter mount.
Close the lid.
5. Lift up hot water dispenser reservoir lid by tilting it towards the back of the unit. Fill it with clean
water until
“MAX” level marked on the reservoir is reached. Do not pour water too quickly, to avoid
splashing. Close the lid.
6. Plug the device in. Turn on the drip segment (without coffee). Run two cycles of brewing (until the
jug is full). Allow the unit to cool down for 30 minutes between cycles and refilling with water.
7. Turn off the drip segment and turn on the hot water dispenser. Wait for the dispenser readiness
indicator to light up.
8. Press a cup towards the dispenser lever and fill the cup with hot water twice. Use a cup with
a handle or a thermo-isolated one.
USING THE DEVICE
CAUTION:
•
Due to the fact that coffee will soak in some of the water, the final amount of coffee will be slightly
smaller than the amount of water poured into the water reservoir.
•
Never pour hot water, milk, ground or instant coffee or tea into the water reservoir.
•
Never fill the water reservoir above the maximum
(“MAX”) level on the indicator.
SETTING TIME
1. Upon plugging the unit in, zeros will start blinking.
2. Use the
button to set current hour and the
button to set current minute
by pressing them until proper values are reached.
