DESCALING THE FILTER COFFEE MAKER
We recommend descaling the machine periodically to keep it in good working
condition.
1. To ensure your espresso machine can operate efficiently, internal piping is clean
and the peak flavor of coffee, you should clean away the mineral deposits left every
1-2 months.
2. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level (the proportion of water and
descaler is 4:1, details refers to the instruction of descaler). Please use “household
descaler”, you can use the citric acid instead of the descaler (one hundred parts of
water and three parts of citric acid).
3. Insert the mug without the lid on the plate. Press the
button, when the
appliance heats up water will drop out automatically.
4. After percolate the equivalent of one cup press the
button again.
5. Leave the descaler works for 15 minutes.
6. Repeat steps 3-5.
7. Rinse the water reservoir and then fill it with fresh water to the MAX level. Repeat
steps 3-4 (without descaler) until no water is left in water reservoir.
