20. In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact
has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
21. Ensure that batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and
–).
22. Batteries usage by children should be supervised. Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult
supervision.
23. Seek medical advice immediately if a battery has been swallowed.
24. Keep batteries clean and dry.
25. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the equipment prior to battery installation.
26. Always select the correct size and type of battery most suitable for the intended use. Information provided
with the equipment to assist correct battery selection should be retained for reference.
27. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an extended period of time unless it is for
emergency purposes.
28. Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
29. Do not dispose of batteries in fire except under conditions of approved and controlled incineration.
30. Batteries should be disposed of in specially marked containers at designated disposal points.
31. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
32. Do not leave the appliance on unattended.
33. Do not use outdoors.
34. This appliance is intended to be used for household use only. Any other use is considered inappropriate
and dangerous.
