IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using and keep for future
reference.
2. The device is not intended for outdoor use.
3. Place the air cooler on a flat, dry surface.
4. Make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
5. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage
stated on the rating label.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be made by
children without supervision.
7. Infants, the disabled and the elderly should not be in the
direct airflow from the fan for long periods of time.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in
any manner.
9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
10. Disconnect the device from the mains when not in use,
before cleaning and before filling the water tank.
11. Do not use the device with wet hands or barefoot.
12. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do
not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or other liquid.
13. Do not move the appliance by pulling the power cable.
