RCA Audio output: Connect your amplifier (or any other suitable device such as powered speakers,
receiver, etc) to the RCA outputs of your MP100SE.
Coaxial digital output: The coaxial digital output allows you to connect an external DAC or a digital
recorder.
Coaxial digital input: Connect here any digital source with a high quality COAXIAL interconnect cable
(75 Ohm) designed specifically for digital audio use.
AES/EBU digital output: The digital coaxial output allows you to connect an external DAC or a digital
recorder.
Optical digital output: The optical digital output allows you to connect an external DAC or a digital
recorder.
BT and WIFI: Connect the supplied aerial to the SMA connector on the rear panel. An RP-SMA
threaded socket is provided to attach the supplied Wi-Fi aerial to the unit. Make sure that the nut on
the aerial lead is tightly screwed to the SMA (threaded) plug on the rear of the MP100SE.
USB (PC): The type B USB input allows a direct connection to a PC/Mac. The MP100SE operation is
fully independent of your computer’s built-in soundcard and will operate whether your computer has
a soundcard or not.
USB USB (type A) host port, for USB stick driver or USB hard disk driver :
iPod: USB (type A) host port, for iPod/iPhone/iPad use.
Upgrade port: For service and future improvements. Not for use by end-users.
Power inlet: Use the mains cable provided with your MP100SE. Be sure the switch is in OFF position
before plugging or unplugging the mains cable.

ETHERNET: Connect the unit to the network permanently with RJ45-RJ45 "straight through" (not
"crossover") networking cable. Use cable suited to the network type, e.g. 10/100 base-T (most home
networks). This allows the unit to be plugged into a computer network, and is strongly recommended
where a wired connection is already available or can be installed. Standard UTP RJ45 networking
cable should be used to connect the unit to the networking router.
