Fire Hazard
Tighten all terminal screws to the correct tightening torque.
Connections that are too loose or too tight can cause incorrect operation and damage to
the drive. Incorrect connections can also cause death or serious injury from fire.
NOTICE
Damage to Equipment
Observe correct electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures when touching the option,
drive, and circuit boards.
Failure to obey can cause ESD damage to the drive circuitry.
Do not de-energize the drive while the drive is supplying voltage.
Incorrect equipment sequencing can cause damage to the drive.
Do not connect or operate damaged equipment or equipment with missing parts.
Failure to obey can cause damage to the drive and connected equipment.
Do not use unshielded wire for control wiring.
Use shielded, twisted-pair wires and ground the shield to the ground terminal of the drive.
Failure to obey can cause electrical interference and unsatisfactory system performance.
Correctly connect all pins and connectors.
Failure to obey can cause incorrect operation and damage to equipment.
Make sure that all connections are correct after installing the option and connecting
peripheral devices.
Failure to obey can cause damage to the drive.
