Preparations
Always check the following before you execute vibration suppression.
•
Position control must be used.
•
The tuning-less function must be disabled (Pn170 = n.
0).
•
The test without a motor function must be disabled (Pn00C = n.
0).
•
The parameters must not be write prohibited.

Applicable Tools
The following table lists the tools that you can use to perform vibration suppression and the
applicable tool functions.

Operating Procedure
Use the following procedure to perform vibration suppression.
1.
Perform steps 1 to 8 of the procedure for custom tuning. Refer to the following section
for details.
2.
Click the
Vib Suppress
Button.
3.
Click the
Import
Button or click
and
Button to manually adjust the set frequency.
When you click the
Import
Button, the residual vibration frequency in the motor is read as the set fre-
quency. (The frequency can be read only when the residual vibration frequency is between 1.0 and
100.0.)

Tuning - Tuning
Frequency detection will not be performed if there is no vibration or if the vibration frequency
is outside the range of detectable frequencies. If a vibration frequency is not detected, pro-
vide a means of measuring the vibration frequency.
