Wiring (Cont’d)
Make sure of the following when wiring:
•
Separate the control signal wires (terminals TA1, TA2, and TA3) of the PG-Z2 from
the main circuit wires and other power cables.
•
A separate metallic grounded conduit with the PG wiring ONLY is preferred to
prevent the introduction of noise on encoder (PG) signals.
•
Use a shielded wire to connect the encoder (PG). Connect the wires as shown in
Figure 5 to prevent noise interference. The wire distance must be 164 ft. (50m) or
less.
•
Be sure the PG wiring is clear of the enclosure when reinstalling the cover.
