The
‘Unified Write Filter’
is a tool that allows you to protect your drives from permanent
writes by redirecting all writes to the respective drive to a virtual overlay. The virtual
overlay is a temporary location that is deleted during a reboot or logout.

, select which drive to protect (Default: C:).

‘Files Exclusions’
and
‘Registry Exclusions’
, select files or registry entries to
be excluded from write protection. Only sub-keys of the following main keys can be
entered under the entries for the

‘Overlay Consumption’
you can see how much memory has
already been consumed.

To execute the firmware update press the button [Info/Update]. After clicking [Info/
Update] the current image is displayed under
‘Image Version’
with panel name, crea-
tion date and version number. With [Create Screenshot] you can make a screen shot
of the panel information and select a destination for its storage.

To execute the firmware update an external keyboard and an USB stick (memory size
8GB) is necessary. The new image file for your Panel PC should be on the USB stick.

together with the panel startup.
