3. Turn the engine on/off switch (17) to "ON" position (Fig. 11).
4. Hold the recoil starter (5) handle firmly and pull it slightly until the
compression position is reached, and then pull it swiftly all the way out.
Slowly return the recoil starter (5) handle to its original position (Fig. 12).
5. Once the motor has started move the choke lever (7) to the right/open
away from the choke symbol and the throttle lever (6) to the slow
position and let the engine idle no load for 3 minutes.
6. The throttle lever (6) can now be adjusted to obtain the desire pressure at
the outlet.
Adjusting the Throttle
The throttle is used to regulate the RPM of the engine, which also controls the water
flow out of the discharge outlet.
1. To increase the speed of the engine and water flow move the throttle lever (6) to
the left towards the fast symbol (Fig. 13).
2. To decrease the speed of the engine and water flow, move the throttle lever (6) to
the right towards the slow symbol
Stopping the Engine
1. Decrease the speed of the engine and water flow by moving the throttle lever (6)
to the right towards the slow symbol and allow to idle for 10-20 seconds.
2. Then turn the ON/OFF switch (17) to the off position and move the fuel lever (8) to
the left/closed position towards the fuel symbol (Fig. 14).
