8.3.1

Viewing a program’s temperature profile

From the Remote Operation page, the user can

view a graphic representation of a stored Program’s

Temperature profile, including the inner pattern loops and linear approximations for Rise/Fall times between
different steps. Just enter the Program and Pattern Numbers and click the Plot button. For simplification
purposes, the rise time is assumed to be three degrees/min.. Fall time is assumed at two degree/min.

The chart below is ‘real life’ approximation the Program shown on the bottom of this page. Note the repeat

loop after Step 3, which executes twice. The total time to run the program is considerably longer once Rise/Fall
times are factored in. (Program1.txt shows total time of 150 minutes but the simulation of same program
indicates total time of 286 minutes, or almost 2x).
