REMOVING THE PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR

1. Remove:

• nut (primary drive gear)

NOTE:

Hold the drive gear holder

onto the crank-

case using the M6 bolts

REMOVING THE KICK SHAFT ASSEMBLY

1. Remove:

• kick shaft assembly

NOTE:

Unhook the torsion spring

from the hole

in the crankcase.

CHECKING THE KICK STARTER

1. Check:

• kick starter gear smooth movement

Unsmooth movement

Replace.

• kick starter shaft

Wear / damage
