• Clean.
 
• Inspect and adjust.
 
• Replace oil.
 
• Replace oil seal.

• Clean and grease oil seals and
dust seals.
  
31 Protector guide • Replace.

32 * Rear shock absorber
• Inspect and adjust.
 
• Grease pillow balls and bearings.
(After rain ride)
 
• Check for tightening torques.
 
33 * Brake(s)
• Adjust lever position and pedal
position.
 
• Lubricate pivot point.
 
• Check brake disc surface.
 
• Check fluid level and leakage.
 
• Retighten brake disc bolts, caliper
bolts, master cylinder bolts and
union bolts.
(Check for tightening torques.)
 
• Replace pads.

• Replace brake fluid. Every one year

34 * Swingarm • Inspect, lube and retighten.
 
35 * Relay arm, connect-
ing rod
• Inspect, lube and retighten.
 
36 * Steering head
• Inspect free play and retighten.
(Check for tightening torques.)
 
• Clean and lube.

• Replace bearings.

37 * Tire, wheels
• Inspect air pressure, wheel run-
out, tire wear and spoke loose-
ness.

• Retighten sprocket bolt.
 
• Check the bearing.

• Replace bearings.

• Lubricate.

38 * Drive chain
• Clean, lubricate, slack, alignment.

• Replace.

39 * Drive chain guide • Inspect wear.

40 * Drive chain guide and
drive chain support
• Replace.

41 Cables
• Routing (Connection)
 
• Check and grease.
 
• Check throttle cables on the throt-
tle body for dirt and wear.
 
42 Levers • Adjust clutch lever free play.

