CHECKING THE FUSES

7. Install:

• battery

8. Connect:

• battery leads

(to the battery terminals)

CAUTION:

First, connect the positive battery lead

and then the negative battery lead

9. Check:

• battery terminals

Dirt

Clean with a wire brush.

Loose connection

→

Connect properly.

10.Lubricate:

• battery terminals

11.Install:

• battery bracket

12.Install:

• battery cover

Refer to “COVERS AND PANELS”.

Recommended lubricant

Dielectric grease

The following procedure applies to all of the
fuses.

CAUTION:

To avoid a short circuit, always set the
main switch to “OFF” when checking or
replacing a fuse.
