TIP

To check the rear brake fluid level, remove the
seat. (See page 4-13.)

To access the rear brake fluid reservoir for replen-
ishing:

1. Remove the cowling bolt and quick fastener

screw.

2. Pull the cowling slightly outward as shown.

3. After replenishing, place the cowling in the

original position, and then install the bolt and
quick fastener screw.

Observe these precautions:

●

When checking the fluid level, make sure that
the top of the brake fluid reservoir is level.

●

Use only the recommended quality brake fluid,
otherwise the rubber seals may deteriorate,
causing leakage and poor braking performance.
