1. Check:

Out of specification 

 Replace.

TIP

The digital circuit tester and the multimeter with
tachometer readings are shown in the following
table.

a. Disconnect the diode from the wire har-

ness.

b. Connect the digital circuit tester (

) to the

diode coupler as shown.

c. Check the diode for continuity.
d. Check the diode for no continuity.
