Setting the fuel consumption correction
The accumulated fuel consumption correction is
a mode that adjusts the fuel consumption rate
according to the riding style of the driver and am-
bient temperature.
1. Push the B button to adjust the setting.
A long push on the button will fast-forward the
setting value.
TIP
•
The initial setting value of the accumulated fuel
consumption correction is set as 100 %.
•
Pushing the B button at a setting value of 110
% will return the setting to 90 %.
2. Push the A button to set the fuel consumption
correction value.
The correction value will then be kept and the
display of the multifunction meter will shift to
the tire diameter correction setting.
Setting the tire diameter correction
TIP
The outer diameter of a tire varies with tire wear,
tire pressure, and course condition.
If the outer diameter of a tire varies with tire wear
or tire pressure, it can be corrected in the follow-
ing manner.
TIP
The initial value is preset with approximately 700
mm (27.56 in) as 100 %.
•
If the outer diameter of a tire is larger than the
initial value
Provide a larger set value.
•
If the outer diameter of a tire is smaller than the
initial value
Provide a smaller set value.
1. Compute the difference in outer diameter
from the initial value for the front tire.
Example:
If the outer diameter of the tire is 709 mm
(27.91 in), which is larger than initial value;
709 mm (27.91 in)/700 mm (27.56 in)
100
(%) = 101.3 (%) Range capable of setting:
75.0–115.0 %
2. Push the B button to change tire diameter
setting value.
A long push on the button will fast-forward the
value.
TIP
Pushing the B button at a setting value of 115 %
will return the setting value to 75 %.
3. Push the A button to set the tire diameter cor-
rection setting.
The correction value will then be kept and the
display of the multifunction meter will shift to
the backlight brightness setting.
