CHECKING THE DRIVE BELT (YUM1A/
YUM2A)
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply
the parking brake.
2. Remove the under-seat panel (YUM1A).
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS (1)” on page
4-1.
3. Lift up the cargo bed.
4. Check:
• Drive belt “1”
Cracks/damage/wear
→
Replace.
Grease/oil
→
Clean the primary and second-
ary sheaves.
Refer to “REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT
(YUM1A/YUM2A)” on page 3-8.
5. Measure:
• Drive belt width “a”
Out of specification
→
Replace.
REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT (YUM1A/
YUM2A)
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply
the parking brake.
2. Remove the under-seat panel (YUM1A).
Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS (1)” on page
4-1
3. Lift up the cargo bed.
4. Replace:
• Drive belt
a. Pull up on the drive belt and push it out-
ward over the edge of the secondary
sheave.
b. Turn the secondary sheave clockwise and
the drive belt will roll off the sheave.
c. Remove the drive belt from the primary
sheave.
d. Install a new drive belt.
CHECKING THE SHIFT LEVER (YUM1A/
YUM2A)
1. Check:
• Shift lever operation
Shift lever not working properly
→
Check the
shift lever.
Refer to “TRANSMISSION (YUM1A/
YUM2A)” on page 7-8.
2. Check:
• Shift stroke “a”
Out of specification
→
Adjust.
3. Adjust:
• Shift stroke
a. Set the shift lever to neutral.
Drive belt width limit
28.0 mm (1.10 in)
2. Plastic board
3. Ruler
