Fuel meter
The fuel meter has eight segments

which show the
amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. As the fuel level
decreases in the fuel tank, the segments disappear until
the level goes down to the last segment “E” (Empty).
When this occurs, the fuel level warning indicator

and
the warning light
3
come on.
If the fuel level warning indicator and the warning light
come on, fill the fuel tank at the first opportunity.

Fuel level warning indicator
The fuel level warning indicator indicates a malfunction-
ing sensor, disconnected coupler, broken lead, or short
circuit when detected by the self-diagnosis device of the
snowmobile.

warn the rider of the
above problems by flashing continuously. (See the table
below for warning indicator, warning light and fuel meter
segment flash pattern.)
When this occurs, have a Yamaha dealer inspect the
snowmobile as soon as possible.
