OUTPUT/PHONES Jack
This is the device’s output jack. Con-
nect a pair of earphones or head-
phones to this jack. This jack can also
be used as an external output jack to
connect the ST5 with an audio cable
to a sound or recording system for
amplification or recording.

AUX IN Jack
Connect the output jack of an exter-
nal device such as a CD/MD player,
to this jack via an audio cable (sold
separately) to play along with the
external audio source.

INPUT Jack
This is the device’s input jack. Con-
nect a Yamaha Pickup Mute or instru-
ment Pickup Mic, etc. to this jack.
* The INPUT Jack also supplies power
to the pickup device. Never use a
pickup device other than a Yamaha
Pickup Mute or Pickup Mic.

This buttons are used to select pro-
grams, edit effects, and adjust the
master level.
* The Value Dial
