CRANKSHAFT INSTALLATION
1.Install:

●

Crankshaft
Into the crankcase (right)

NOTE:

Hold the connecting rod 

1

 at top dead center

with one hand while turning the nut of the
installing tool with the other. Operate the
installing tool unit the crankshaft bottoms
against the bearing.

CRANKCASE ASSEMBLING
1.Apply:

●

Sealant
To the mating surface of both case halves

1

.

2.Install:

●

Dowel pins 

2

 

3.Fit the right crankcase onto the left case.

Tap lightly on the case with a soft hammer.

CAUTION:

Before installing and torquing the crank-
case holding bolts, be sure to check
whether the transmission is functioning
properly by manually rotating the shift cam
either way.
