Memorizing Yo u r Fa v orite Settings (Registration Memory)
The Re g istration Memory function allows you to save
(or “re g ister”) panel settin g s such as Voice and Style
to a Re g istration Memory button, and then instantly
recall your custom panel settin g s by simply pressin g a
sin g le button. The re g istered settin g s for four Re g is-
tration Memory buttons will be saved as a sin g le Bank.

Make the desired settin g s, such as those
for Voice, Style, and Groove.

Press the REGISTRATION MEMORY
[BANK/MEMORY] button to call up a Bank
number on the display.

Use the dial or the [1]–[8] number but-
tons to select a Bank number.

While holdin g down the [BANK/MEM-
ORY] button, press one of the [1]–[4] but-
tons to memorize the current panel
settin
g s.
A “Mem OK” message appears indicating that the
panel settings w ill b e stored temporarily. The data
is act u ally w ritten to the memory w hen the po w er
is t u rn off.

Press and release the [BANK/MEMORY] but-
ton to call up a Bank number on the display.

ORY [1]–[4] buttons to call up the panel

The recalled Registration Memory n u m b er
appears in the display for a fe w seconds.
Up to 32 settings (eight b anks of fo u r
each) can b e memorized.

Memorizing Panel Settings to
the Registration Memory
• Data cannot be saved to Registration Memory during
Song playback.
• If you select a Registration Memory number that
already contains data, the previous data is deleted and
overwritten by the new data.
• Samples are not memorized. Save them to a USB Flash
Drive (page 34).

Recalling Panel Settings from
the Registration Memory
• When the [SONG] lamp is lit, the Style or Groove settings
will not be recalled even if you press the [REGISTRATION
MEMORY] button to which the Style or Groove settings are
memorized. To recall Style/Groove settings, make sure to
press the [STYLE] or [GROOVE CREATOR] button before-
hand.

Dual Voice settin g s: D u al on/off and all settings of

Split Voice settin g s: Split on/off and all settings of
the related F u nctions

Effect settin g s: Re v er b Type, Chor u s Type

Harmony / Arpe gg io settin g s: Harmony/Arpeggio
on/off and all settings of the related F u nctions

DSP: DSP on/off, DSP type and parameter v al u es of


