DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

1. Lower Case Assembly
(Time required: About 3 minutes)
1-1. Remove the sixteen (16) screws marked [420] and the
two (2) screws marked [430A]. The lower case assembly
can then be removed. (Fig. 1)
* Note that the connectors on the SM and AM
circuit board are connected to each other.
2. SM Circuit Board
(Time required: About 4 minutes)
2-1. Remove the lower case assembly. (See procedure 1.)
2-2. Remove the two (2) screws marked [460A]. The SM case
assembly can then be removed. (Fig. 1)
2-3. Remove the four (4) screws marked [S50]. The SM circuit
board can then be removed. (Fig. 1)

Caution: Be sure to attach the removed filament tape just as it was before removal.
[S50]: Bind Head Tapping Screw-B 3.0X8 MFZN2Y(EP600250)
[420]: Bind Head Tapping Screw-P 3.0X12 MFZN2Y(EP600300)
3. HP Circuit Board
(Time required: About 4 minutes)
3-1. Remove the lower case assembly. (See procedure 1.)
3-2. Remove the three (3) screws marked [460B]. The HP
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 2)
4. Wheel Assembly, PB Circuit Board
(Time required: About 3 minutes)
4-1. Remove the lower case assembly. (See procedure 1.)
4-2. Remove the two (2) screws marked [560A]. The PB circuit
board with the wheel assembly can then be removed.

4-3. Remove the wheel assembly from the PB circuit board.

Contacts are visible from the back. Pay attention not to
insert and install the cable to the connector inversely.
