Periodic inspection
2.3 Six-month inspection
Take the following precautions when performing 6-month inspection.
1) Turn off the controller power.
2) Place a sign indicating the robot is being inspected, to keep others from operating
the controller power.
3) Enter the safety enclosure and check the following points.

Controller
• Check if terminals are loose.
• Check if connectors are loose.
Greasing to linear

Apply recommended grease to
linear guide every 6 months.
Shutter
Check for slack (gap). Adjust if
necessary. (Refer to "3. Replacing
the shutter".)
Shutter roller
Check for wear, and replace if
necessary. (Refer to "4. Replacing
the shutter roller".)

CAUTION
The linear guide service life may be reduced if our recommended grease is
not used.

Check the following points every 3 years or more often if the robot is used frequently.
