Preparation
• To check the unit, the following measuring instruments and jigs are required.
Measuring instruments: Frequency counter (Input impedance 1M
Ω
or more)
Level meter (JIS-C curve)
Oscilloscope
Jigs:Foot Switch FC4
MIDI cable
Serial cable (in which pin 3 and pin 5, pin 6 and pin 8 are short-circuited respectively)
• Set the controls as follows.
[MASTER VOLUME]: Maximum
[BRILLIANCE]: Center
Voice: PIANO
[REVERB]: OFF
• Use PA-300 for AC adapter.

Entering the Test Program
Turn on the [STANDBY/ON] switch with C2# , F2 , G2# keys pressed and held. (Fig.1)
The 7-seg.LED will indicate "

" and the test program will run. (Fig.2)

Test Procedure
• Push the [START/STOP] button once to start the current test.
• Push the [START/STOP] button again to finish the current test and have the system enter the wait state.
• Push the [TEMPO

] button to proceed to the next test number.
• Push the [TEMPO
▼
] button to return to the previous test number.
• If the test result is OK, the 7-seg.LED will indicate "
pA5
". Push the [START/STOP] button to proceed to the next
test number.
• If the test result is no good, the 7-seg.LED will indicate "
nG
". Push the [DEMO] button to proceed to the next test
number.
