Part Description
1……………. Winch Mount
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Remove the two bolts [A] from the bottom plastic
guard as shown in “Figure 1”
2.
Place winch into location on the front mounting tabs
on the lower portion of the front bumper as shown in
“Figure 2”. With certain winches and machines this
may be a very tight fit. Depending on what winch you
have and what machine you have, you will need to get
the winch put into position by putting the motor end of
the winch in first with the top or bottom surface of the
winch facing you as shown in “Figure 3”. Once the
winch is maneuvered into position you will then need
to rotate the winch so that the mounting surface is
down. This may need to be achieved by rotating it
with the corner of the winch going into the space
between the front and rear mounting tabs on your
machine as shown in
3.
Once the winch is into location you can then place the
winch mount into location by slipping it between the
winch and mounting tabs on the ATV frame.
NOTE: WITH SOME WINCHES YOU WILL BE
REQUIRED TO MOUNT THE PLATE ON THE
BOTTOM OF THE FRAME TABS TO LOWER THE
MOTOR FROM HITTING THE UPPER FRAME
TUBES.
4.
If you have a 4-hole mounted winch (Warn, Ramsey,
and similar styles) you will only be using the winch
mount that is supplied and the hardware that came
with your winch to mount the entire assembly to your
ATV as shown in the exploded view.
5.
6.
Mount your winch to the mounting plate with the
hardware supplied with your winch.
7.
Mount your Roller or Hawse Fairlead to the mount
using the hardware that came with your fairlead or
winch kit.
8.
Reinstall the two bolts from Step 1.
9.
Using the instructions provided with your winch, wire
accordingly
