Outstanding Fuel Effi ciency
Independent fuel injectors deliver the precise amount
of fuel to each individual cylinder for superior fuel
effi ciency and engine performance.
Smooth Operation
The unique twin balancer shafts incorporated into the
Yamaha F150 Jet Drive counteract vibration normally
associated with internal moving parts for smooth
operation. A labyrinth exhaust system helps keep
things quiet, too.
Reliable Performance
Each cylinder has it’s own compact throttle
valve that works independently with each fuel
injector to deliver the precise amount of air/fuel
mixture on per-cylinder basis. This highly effi cient
design delivers quick response for faster acceleration
and helps increase fuel effi ciency.
Dependable Charging Power
The F150 Jet Drive
uses a marine style
top-mounted alternator
for increased reliability. The high output alternator
puts out 28 amps at only 1000 rpm and an
incredible 35 amps from 1500 rpm to wide-open
throttle to help keep batteries charged.
Greater Reliability
The F150 Jet Drive cowling drain system takes the
water down and out, helping keep the engine and
intake air dry for added reliability.
Responsive, Fuel-Effi cient Power
Individual intake and
exhaust camshafts
provide more precise
valve timing control and
have less moving parts than
conventional push-rod systems. This advanced design
also features 4 valves per cylinder which exchange
intake and exhaust gases more effi ciently for awesome
power and increased fuel effi ciency.
