NOTE
Normally, speakers are connected
via the [SPEAKERS A/B] jacks on
the rear panel. However, if a higher
output level is required, connect the
speakers via a power amplifier that
is connected to the [STEREO OUT]
jack.

When connecting a condenser microphone, set the [PHANTOM
+48V] switch to the ON position (
).

Turn on the power.

Set the [LEVEL] control for the channel that has the connected
device to the [
] position.

Use the STEREO MASTER [LEVEL] control to adjust the overall
sound level.
10.
If necessary, adjust the balance of the connected devices
using the [LEVEL] controls for channels 1 to 11/12.
WARNING
When turning off the power, a loud and unpleasant noise may be generated by
the speakers. To prevent this, first turn off the Mixer [
] (Power) switch, then
turn off the instrument or audio device.

Optimizing the volume settings
When the volume is too loud
Turn the [LEVEL] control to the minimum (zero). Set the [
MIC/
LINE] switch to
the “
LINE” position, and then slowly raise the [LEVEL] control until the desired
volume is reached.
When the volume is too soft
Turn the [LEVEL] control to the minimum (zero). Set the [
MIC/
LINE] switch to
the “
MIC” position, and then slowly raise the [LEVEL] control until the desired vol-
ume is reached.
