If an error occurs during operation, one of the following error message numbers will appear on the display.
: Motor Drive Error
CAUSE:
The volume knob has not returned to its assigned position after 20 seconds has elapsed from the start of the recall
operation or, the device does not recognize the recall command.
SOLUTION:
Turn off the power and check the circuit for Motor Drive.
: MIDI Receive Buffer Full
CAUSE:
Too much MIDI data is being received by the DG80-112 at one time.
SOLUTION:
Try reducing the amount of data being sent or, break the data into smaller blocks.
: Communication Error
CAUSE:
An abnormality is detected during MIDI communications.
SOLUTION:
Check all connections, etc. and try again.
: Bulk Receive Check Sum Error
CAUSE:
The check sum does not match the received MIDI bulk data.
SOLUTION:
Check all connections and data, and try again.
: Bulk Receive Data Abnormality
CAUSE:
An abnormality is detected in the received MIDI bulk data.
SOLUTION:
Check all connections and data, and try again.
: Backup Battery Error
CAUSE:
Backup battery power is depleted.
SOLUTION:
Continued use of the device will result in the loss of data. Replace the battery with a new one.
