Kick starter

Rotate the kick starter away from the
engine. Push the starter down lightly
with your foot until the gears en-
gage, then kick smoothly and force-
fully to start the engine.

Make sure there is sufficient two-
stroke engine oil in the oil tank. Add
the recommended oil as necessary.

Recommended oil:

Yamalube 2 or 2-stroke engine
oil (JASO FC grade or ISO EG-

To open

Insert the key into the main switch
and turn it counterclockwise. Do not
push inward when turning the key.

To close

Push the seat downward to the origi-
nal position and remove the key
from the main switch.
