4-5 LCD Display Test (05 LCD)
4-5-1 Test Contents
Checks dot indication of the LCD.
4-5-2 Testing procedure
(1) Check visually for damage and missing dot when every
dot on the LCD flashes twice.
(2) Check visually for contrast adjustment effect when every
dot on the LCD lights on.
4-5-3 Judgment
(1) Check that there is no damage or dot missing and contrast
can be adjusted normally.
If normal:
Press the ENTER key.
Returns to the testing item indication screen, “
™
” is
displayed at the left end of testing item indicating area,
and the cursor moves to the next testing item.
(2) If the test result is NG or you wish to cancel the test:
Press the [CANCEL] key to return to the testing item
indication screen. At this time, “
×
” is shown at the left end
of testing item indicating area.
4-6 MIDI function test (06 MIDI)
4-6-1 Test Contents
Checks MIDI I/F functions.
4-6-2 Testing procedure
(1) If the connection and operation are normal: “ MIDI CABLE
RELEASE [ENTER] ” is displayed.
In case of NG, “ ERROR:MIDI [ENTER] ” is displayed.
Press the [ENTER] key to finish.
(2) If normal, remove the MIDI cable and press the [ENTER]
key.
(3) If breaking of wire is detected, “ TEST OK [ENTER] ” is
shown. Press the [ENTER] key and the test is completed.
If conneced, “
ERROR : SHORT [ENTER]
” is displayed.
4-6-3 Judgment
(1) If normal:
The screen returns to the testing item indication, “

” is
displayed at the left end of testing item indicating area,
and the cursor moves to the next testing item.
(2) If the test result is NG or you wish to cancel the test:
Press the [CANCEL] key to return to the testing item
indication screen. At this time, “

” is shown at the left end
of testing item indicating area.
(3) If “
NG: DATA ERROR
” is displayed during the test:
The test result is failure.

4-7-2 Testing procedure
(1) Performs register reading/writing test automatically with
USB disconnected.
• If normal, go to step (2)
